I have finally posted an arts!
It is an old arts, and is computer arts, and was a school assignment which involved scanning an animal from a book and using autotrace in Illustrator 9 way back in my college days... but it is an arts.
Sadly it appears like my other old arts are not still there, or are really boring exercizes, or are sucky, etc.
But I do have photos from college, and some typography exercises, that I shall try to upload.
Just so there's stuffs to look at that aren't the same stuffs that are already here.
Cuz I look at a lot of them and gag.

Happy Holidays!

Sat Dec 26, 2009, 5:49 PM
Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! I felt like it kinda snuck up on me, but Christmas went well. I still have to finish work on the gift I was knitting for my sister's boyfriend, but the rest of the gifts were well received and my family was for the most part good with their gifting choices.

I have been horribly ignoring the dA for a while now, between work, NaNoWriMo (another winning year), MLing for NaNo, and Christmas... but I have done a few little crafties and will eventually get around to taking photos and posting... may also scan in some other things, old computer art from college and projects I did before I got on dA (if I can find the pictures).

Recently I've been working on knitting and crocheting projects, but the future holds a retooling of my Rikku cosplay, working with ~purewhiteshadow on an underbust corset she'd like to make, and all the other projects I've already listed before. Finding time to do these things - that will be the challenge. I'm going to try to take advantage of the holiday break to clean the house and try to organize things so that I can take on a project at a time, with enough workspace.

Arty art art

So we formed like an artist coalition to get our butts in gear, but then failed at meeting more than once. We're trying to fit it in the end of this month but it's hard to schedule things with our groups.

In other news, I'm now going to be taking up chainmaile, as another craft that I will likely begin a lot and never finish... took a class at Origins and made a bracelet (turkish capture or something like that) and a keychain (i forget the name of the pattern)... suppose I should post piccies of the things I do, huh?

Never finished the Rikku scarf, although I will eventually do so... it was left in my sisters' things after AnimeNext so I didn't have it to work on for a while...

Going to start making creepy cute crochet things as soon as I a) find the time, and b) go to the store to buy the supplies with the giftcard I got for my birthday months ago...

Also done some writing, took a seminar on editing which gave me a lot of ideas for fixing my novel, have a few short story ideas in my head...

Got some neat yarn from my mom, have to decide what to do with it...

Going to at some point finish the damn binding on the quilt, then get started fixing the corsets from AN08, then start drafting my own pattern for an overbust that will do what I want it to (not that the Laughing Moon pattern isn't great, but the sizing is such a pain in the ass so I need to make something suited to *my* shape)...

Also, my house is a disaster, which preempts anything getting done because there isn't a space to do it in, and everything is covered in cat hair (which is a big D: when it comes to fabric/yarn projects)...

Yay, I'ma gonna try to post piccies now...

...is coming waaaaay too fast.

Too much to do, and not enough time (or clean space to work it) to do it.

Garrr.

Novella

Thu Jun 4, 2009, 7:13 PM
In approximately one month, I will have, in my hands, a printed proof copy of the worst novella I have ever written (which just so happens to be the only novella I have ever finished).

Yay me.
